On July 23, 2024, PT. Sumatera Kemasindo held a Blood Donation Action event for the second time, in collaboration with PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) and collaboration with Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. This event not only focused on blood donation activities, but also held free Medical Check Up activities for the participants who attended.
The activity began with participant registration in the morning, followed by an initial health check by the medical team from PMI and RS. Syafira. Participants who had been declared healthy then proceeded to donate blood, which was carried out in a well-prepared area. Officers from PMI provided professional assistance and services during the blood donation process, ensuring that all procedures were carried out safely and comfortably.
During the event, an enthusiastic atmosphere was felt from all participants. One of the important moments of this activity was the direct participation of the main leaders and directors of the company in the blood donation action, showing a strong commitment to social activities and public health. After completing the blood donation, participants were invited to enjoy light snacks and drinks that had been provided as a form of appreciation for their participation. The event was closed with the presentation of awards to the company and thanks from PMI and RS. Syafira for the support and presence of participants in supporting this humanitarian activity.
This Blood Donation Action and Medical Check Up activity not only succeeded in raising awareness of the importance of blood donation, but also provided direct benefits to the health of participants.
